IN THE HOUSE:

LIGHT: Bright light but not direct sun.

TEMPERATURE: Keep cool. The cooler the plant is the longer the flowers will last.

WATERING: Keep the compost moist but NOT TOO WET at all times. Do not allow to dry out.

AFTER FLOWERING: Cut stems back to half their height.

Repot and keep the plant outside during the summer and autumn. Continue to water and feed with a high potash fertilizer. Overwinter in a frost-free room. Water sparingly. Move to a warmer, brighter room in mid-winter and increase the watering.

Plant in the garden in a moist but well-drained, moderately fertile, humus rich soil in sun or semi-shade.
