About Daleside Nurseries

Established in 1958, we are a family owned and run retail nursery and garden centre, located two miles north of the beautiful spa town of Harrogate.

We take pride in growing and selling an extensive range of quality plants, most grown here on our 8-hectare (20 acres) nursery. Through constant innovation we continually explore the best ways of growing quality plants using either tried and tested traditional methods or inventive new techniques. We grow a vast range of varied plants from the classics, you would expect to find, to the new, unusual and often difficult to find plants. Our plant lists are regularly updated and list the full range available.

In addition to plants we do, of course, sell various gardening items to help you grow and look after your plants in the best possible way. We aim to supply you with a broad variety of items from a range of well-known manufacturers and a few of the lesser known ones.
